KOLHAPUR UNIVERCITY

General Instructions:

1. The candidates desirous of obtaining Degree/Diploma /Certificates are required to apply online along with necessary fees Rs. 250/- to be submitted before 16^th August or with late fee Rs. 350/- up to 31^st August & with Super Late fee Rs. 850/- up to 15^th September, 2008.

2. Payment of convocation fee can be made by D.D. in favour of Finance & Accounts Officer, Shivaji University, Kolhapur, drawn on any Nationalized /Scheduled Bank payable at Kolhapur or by cash depositing the same amount in any branch of State Bank of India’s in A/C No. 30309146380. The print of convocation form alongwith the copy of the statement of marks of the final year examination and Demand Draft/ counter foil should be send together to The Controller of Examinations, Shivaji University Campus, Kolhapur – 416004. Please mention the convocation form number and name of the applicant on the backside of D.D.

3. The candidates should submit their Convocation Forms on-line along with fees mentioned on the websites of Shivaji University.

4. The convocation programme will be send to the candidates who have applied for the convocation indicating to take the degree In Person.

5. Xeroxed copy of the Statement of Marks of the final year examination should be attached along with the print-out of the application form.

6. Candidates applying for their M.B.B.S. Ayurvedacharya (B.A.M.S.) , B.H.M.S. , B.D.S. and B.Sc (Nursing) Degree Certificates must submit their University Internship Training Completion Certificate along with print-out of the application forms.

7. On production of fee receipt & convocation receipt, identity card, Degree/Diploma/Certificate will be handed over to the concerned candidate in person in the University Office. The day, date and time of convocation ceremony will be notified in due course of time. They must bring with them the receipt duly signed to be exchanged for the certificate. In case such of the candidates who fail to receive their Degree/Diploma/Certificate in person, Degree/Diploma/Certificates will be send to their addresses by Registered/Speed post within one month.

8. If the Degree Certificate once sent is returned back to the University as undelivered, the candidate will have to send required registered postal charges Rs. 50/- On receipt of the postal charges Degree/Diploma/Certificate will be send to their addresses by Registered/Speed post.

9. In case the applicant who will not take their Degree/ Diploma/ Certificates in person at the convocation function their Degree /Diploma/Certificate will be send on their addresses within one month.

10. The candidates who wish to receive their, Degree/Diploma/ Certificates in person and are to be included in the procession are requested to be in attendance at the place of procession at the notified time punctually, on the convocation day, alongwith the Degree/Diploma/Certificates and must appear in the Academic costume. The instructions in this respect will be sent to the candidates well in time.
